Short version: DeskWalker collects nothing. All your data stays on your iPhone. There is no server, no account, and no tracking of any kind.
1. Data we collect
DeskWalker does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. There are no user accounts and no backend infrastructure.
All data — session records, profile settings, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device using encrypted local storage.
2. Apple Health
With your explicit permission, DeskWalker reads the following data types from Apple Health:
- Heart rate samples (to improve calorie estimates)
- VO₂max / Cardio Fitness (to improve calorie estimates)
- Active Energy Burned (for post-session EPOC calculation)
This data is read locally on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. DeskWalker does not write any data back to Apple Health.
3. Analytics & crash reporting
DeskWalker contains no analytics SDK, crash reporting service, or third-party tracking library. Zero telemetry data is collected.
4. Purchases
DeskWalker Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple. DeskWalker uses RevenueCat solely to verify purchase receipts on-device. RevenueCat may collect anonymised purchase event data in accordance with their own privacy policy. No personally identifiable information is shared with RevenueCat beyond what Apple provides as part of the standard receipt.
5. Children's privacy
DeskWalker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
6. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published at this URL with a revised date. Continued use of the app after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
